The Director of Education of the Central Province has informed all the schools in the Central Province through a circular informing them to limit the organization of festivals in the schools.

Considering the complaints that some schools collect thousands of rupees from parents by organizing various events throughout the year.

According to this circular, principals have been given permission to hold only 07 festivals throughout the year, three festivals in the first term and four festivals in the second and third terms.
