The Navy has found more than 04 kg of gold that was submerged in the Puttalam Lagoon.

It was yesterday (08) during a search operation carried out by the Sri Lanka Navy in the sea near Battalangunduwa Island in Puttalam Lagoon.

Two persons (02) suspected to be involved in the incident and a dinghy have also been taken into custody by the Navy.
