At least 20 people were killed and more than 50 injured in an explosion in Pakistan, according to foreign media.

The police say that the explosion took place near a religious place in the southweste province of Balochistan.

Police also suspect that it was a suicide attack targeting a religious gathering in Mastung city.

Foreign media say that the authorities have declared a state of emergency.

The injured have been taken to two hospitals and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
