The Sri Lankan Navy has managed to safely rescue a large shark that washed up on Karaitivu beach in Kalmunai.

After receiving information about the whale shark stranded on the beach, the Navy had sent a team near the beach for this operation.

By cooperating with the residents of the area, the Navy members managed to safely take the stranded shark to the deep sea.
