The announcement issued by the Department of Meteorology today (02) states that except for a few rains that may occur in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces, Galle and Matara districts, the rest of the island will be mainly rainless weather.
 
In the weste slopes of Central Hills, North, North-Central, South and North-West Provinces and in Trincomalee district, windy per 40-45 kmh from time to time.
