The Department of Meteorology says in a statement that there will be some rain in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.

A few places in Central, Uva and Easte Provinces and Mullaitivu and Vavuniya districts may experience rain or thundershowers in the evening or ove ight.

The rest of the island will have mainly rainless weather conditions.
 
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
