The Department of Meteorology says in an announcement that there will be several periods of rain in the North-Central, Easte and Uva provinces and Mullaitivu district.

The announcement also states that there may be some rain in Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-West and South provinces.

There will be mainly rainless weather in the rest of the island.

Foggy conditions may prevail in some places in Weste , Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and Galle and Matara districts in the mo ing.
