The Sri Lankan Election Commission has announced the final results for the Anuradhapura District in the 2024 General Election. The National People’s Power (NPP) emerged as the leading party, capturing over 67% of the total votes in the district.

The NPP received 331,692 votes, securing the district win, while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came in second with 98,176 votes (19.90%).

Based on these results, the NPP has obtained 7 seats in Anuradhapura District, with the SJB winning 2 seats.

• Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 98,176 votes – 2 seat
• New Democratic Front (NDF): 29,961 votes
• Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 11,248 votes
• Sarvajana Balaya: 6,008 votes
