Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed that he will respond strongly to any terrorist act launched against India in the future.

This was the first time since the start of hostilities between India and Pakistan that he issued a statement to the nation.

The Indian Prime Minister further stated that he had appealed to Pakistan to stop the attacks in the face of Indian attacks.
