The International Monetary Fund has reiterated its full support for Sri Lanka's economic stability and recovery efforts.
This was at a press conference held yesterday (14).
IMF Communications Director Julie Kosak stated that Sri Lanka has recently faced two major shocks that have caused significant economic pressure.
She said that the first of these was Cyclone 'Ditwa,' which was a natural disaster that severely affected Sri Lanka's economic activities.
She further stated that the second shock is the ongoing impact of the war in the Middle East.
