Deputy Minister of Mass Media Dr. Kaushalya Ariyaratne has begun her duties in her post today (11).

This was at the Ministry of Mass Media in Narahenpita.

She was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Mass Media in accordance with the Cabinet reshuffle carried out by the President in conjunction with the 2026 budget.

Speaking to the media after taking office, she said that many activities have already been initiated to fulfill the promises made under the policy of 'A Rich Country, a Beautiful Life.'

She also said that many more plans are to be implemented.
