An earthquake has struck Peru today (08).

Foreign media reported that it had a magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter scale.

The US Geological Survey said the earthquake occurred at a depth of about 107 kilometers.

Foreign media reported that the earthquake was also felt in Ecuador, which is located near Peru.
