Members of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka gathered for a discussion on reducing of electricity charges yesterday (28).

However, the commission has not taken a final decision, according to the PUCSL members.

PUCSL has scheduled another meeting next Friday for further discussions to get a final decision.

Earlier this month Verité Research published their latest analysis saying that Sri Lanka has the highest electricity charges in South Asia at the start of 2024.
