Several spells of showers will occur in Northe , North-central provinces and in Matale, Nuwara-Eliya and Hambanthota districts. 

 

Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in Ampara and Batticaloa districts. 

 

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere of the island after 2.00 p.m.
