Former Minister C. B. Ratnayake, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for committing an offense under the Money Laundering Act, was today (16) ordered by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama to be released on bail.

The magistrate has reportedly ordered a ban on the suspect's foreign travel and released him on two surety bonds of Rs. 2 million each.
