American Olympic and World Championship medalist Tori Bowie has died, her managers have confirmed.
The Florida police chief has stated that she was found dead in her home.
He also stated that this search was done based on a suspicion that no one had seen her for several days.
The cause of her death has not yet been confirmed, but the police say that the death is not suspicious.
Representing the United States in the world athletics arena, she represented the United States in the 2016 Olympics and won a gold medal, a silver medal in the 100 meter event, and a bronze medal in the 200 meter event.
She later won the gold medal in the 4X100 relay at the 2017 World Athletics Championships and was able to win the 100m event in that tou ament after a close fight.
She was bo in 1990 and 33 years old when she died.
