The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in the Easte and Uva provinces.

In the Weste , Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in the Galle and Matara Districts after 4.00pm, rain or thundershowers may occur at few places.

It is said that there is mainly rainless weather in the rest of the island.

In some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in Galle and Matara districts, foggy conditions may prevail in the mo ing.

It is said that there will be mainly rainless weather conditions in the sea areas around the island.

From Colombo to Mannaram via Puttalam and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota, the wind speed in the sea areas off the coast is 40-50 km/h at times.

The Department of Meteorology further states that the sea areas off the coast from Colombo to Mannaram via Puttalam and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota may be rough from time to time.
