The Foreign Employment Bureau says that the discussions with the authorities in Japan and South Korea regarding increasing the job quota given to Sri Lanka have been successful.

Accordingly, the bureau states that by the end of this year, the country will have the same amount of additional jobs.

The bureau further stated that it is conducting discussions with the embassies of several countries in the Middle East to increase the welfare of Sri Lankan workers.
