A police constable attached to the Dematagoda Police has been arrested in the Dematagoda area.

This was by officers from the Colombo City Excise Unit.

It is reported that the police constable in question was arrested with 200 grams of ice while still in uniform.

Officers from the Excise Unit stated that the value of the relevant drug stock is Rs. 2.5 million.
