The Sri Lanka Postal Department says that the revenue target given by the Treasury to the department was exceeded last year.

Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara stated that the Sri Lanka Postal Department ea ed a revenue of Rs. 13,100 million.

Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara further stated that many new recruitments and permanent appointments were made for various professions related to the Sri Lanka Postal Department during the past year.
