Two President's Atto eys have been appointed to assist the Atto ey General's Department in the compensation case assigned in Singapore in relation to the X-Press Pearl ship.

That is by the Marine Environment Protection Authority.

It's chairman, lawyer Mr. Asela Rakeva mentioned that President's lawyer Mr. Roland Perera and President's lawyer Mr. Chandaka Jayasundara have been appointed.

The Atto ey General's Department has also been informed in this regard.

The Chairman also stated that he would provide the support of his authority to the Atto ey General's Department through the relevant lawyers.
