A horrific accident occurred this Today (26)when a private bus and a Sri Lanka Transport Board bus collided.

It happened in the Nawula Nalanda area on the Daulla-Matale main road.

It is reported that 11 people have been admitted to the Nalanda District Hospital and the Matale Hospital, who were injured in the accident.

Police stated that the driver of the private bus has been arrested while the driver of the CTB bus has fled.
