The ongoing satyagraha initiated by National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa and a group of civil society representatives has now been concluded.

This was after the government announced that the implementation of the new education reforms related to Grade 6 has been postponed until 2027.

This satyagraha was launched yesterday (12), demanding the immediate withdrawal of the new education reform process and the resignation of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya as the Minister of Education.
