The World Bank has approved a $50 million project to promote innovation and investment in the country’s digital sector and mode ize government services, among other areas.

Issuing a statement, the World Bank Group stated that the main objective of this project is to modernize government services and bring them closer to the public more efficiently.

Accordingly, the World Bank stated that this will help promote the digital sector in Sri Lanka, which will serve the needs of the people and businesses.
