The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said that 5,162 people belonging to 1,288 families who have been affected by unfavorable weather have relocated to 83 relief camps.

Meanwhile, 206,203 people of 54,569 families have been affected by the contrary weather that continue over two weeks.

The DMC said that 24 deaths and 16 injuries have been reported around the country.

In addition, 60 houses have been destroyed and 5,348 houses have been partially damaged islandwide.
