Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake has encouraged citizens to vote early today, with polls open until 4:00 p.m.

Speaking to the media, Ratnayake reminded voters to bring their official voter notice sheet and a form of ID to the polling station.

However, those registered but without a voter notice sheet can still vote by presenting an accepted ID.
