The Department of Examinations has postponed the 2024 Advanced Level Examination for three more days due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions.
Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara announced that the exams, previously halted from November 27 to November 29, will now also be suspended on November 30, December 2, and December 3. The examination will resume on Wednesday, December 4, with subjects originally scheduled for that date proceeding as planned.
The postponed subjects will be rescheduled as follows:
Additionally, the general public examination on Saturday, December 7, will feature a revised schedule printed in a different color.
This decision, according to the Examinations Commissioner, aims to accommodate students affected by the recent weather conditions, despite the situation beginning to ease.
