An official creditor's committee has been formed related to debt restructuring in Sri Lanka.

The relevant committee has been formed with the participation of 17 creditor countries and the committee is chaired by India, Japan and France.

In this regard, Paris Club issued a statement stating that the decision was taken in the first meeting held in this regard.
