The Presidential Media Division announced in a statement that Mrs. K.A. Rohanadhira has been appointed as the General Secretary of the Parliament.

This appointment will be effective from the 23rd of May.

The President has made this appointment with the approval of the Constitutional Council.
 
Also, she currently holds the position of Chief of Staff of the Parliament and Deputy Secretary General of the Parliament.
