A sudden breakdown has occurred in the main water supply line that supplies water from Ambathale to Dehiwala.

As a result, water supply has been suspended to several areas around Colombo today (03).

The water supply has been suspended to the following areas: Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, Zoysa Pura, Ratmalana, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Wellawatte, Pamankada, Mulleriyawa, and Kolonnawa.

In addition, it is reported that water is being supplied to the Battaramulla area under low pressure.
