Brazilian authorities have seized the world's largest illegal stock of shark fins.

That was when the shark fins were being taken to Asia.

It is reported that there were nearly 29 tons of shark fins in this stock.

The authorities had arranged to confiscate this stock of fins.

Commenting on this, the Brazilian Environmental Protection Agency stated that there are about 10,000 blue shark fins here.

The rest of the fins are reported to belong to small fish sharks.

Blue sharks and small fish sharks are two endangered shark species in Brazil.
