A discussion was held yesterday (12) regarding the 'Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone,' which is being organized in conjunction with the Vesak festival, jointly organized by the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Viharaya and the Prime Minister's Office.

It was chaired by the Prime Minister's Secretary, Pradeep Saputhanthree.

'Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone 2025' is scheduled to be held for 4 days from May 13.

It is reported that the Vesak zone is scheduled to be held at the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Viharaya, the Temple Trees premises, Perahera Mawatha, and the Beira Lake.

The tri-forces, school children, university students, gove ment institutions, and prison inmates will hold Vesak decorations, Vesak pandals, and cage exhibitions.

Simultaneously, attention was also paid to implementing special religious programs in gove ment schools and gove ment institutions.
