Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has lost his chance to play in the Asia Cup due to an injury.

He represented the B Love Candy team that won the championship in this year's LPL cricket tou ament, where he was able to play only 4 matches.
 
He suffered a shoulder injury during the tou ament and due to this he missed several preliminary round matches and the final round matches.

Currently, the Sri Lankan squad nominated for the Asian Cup has been sent to the Sports Minister for approval.
 
Accordingly, it is reported that Kasun Rajitha has been called to the Sri Lankan squad instead of Dushmantha Chameera.
