A total of 7,757 people belonging to 1,966 families in the Ratnapura, Gampaha, Kalutara, and Galle districts have been affected by the bad weather that has affected the island.

The Disaster Management Center stated that one death has also been reported due to the bad weather.

The center further stated that 201 people belonging to 58 families are being sheltered in 06 safe places.

The latest statement issued by the Disaster Management Center states that in addition, 123 partial house damages have also been reported.
