All institutions affiliated with the Zoological Department, which were closed due to adverse weather conditions, have been reopened for public viewing.

The Zoological Department stated that steps have been taken to reopen the relevant institutions from the 1st of last month.

Accordingly, steps have been taken to reopen the Dehiwala Zoo, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Pinnawala Zoo, and Ridiyagama Safari Park.
