The Government Medical Officers' Association has decided to commence an island-wide strike from 8.00 am tomorrow (31).

In this regard, the association's media spokesperson, Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, stated that all hospitals will participate in this.

Accordingly, he stated that all daily treatment services will be disrupted tomorrow (31).

He further stated that he is ready to reconsider the strike if the health authorities provide a reasonable solution.
