Yesterday, July 17, 2024, officials in Moscow and Kyiv announced that Russia and Ukraine had each released 95 captured soldiers in the latest prisoner exchange.

This marks the third such swap between the two countries in the past seven weeks, resulting in the release of a total of 190 prisoners of war. The exchange followed talks mediated by the United Arab Emirates.
