Influenza prevalence among children on the rise
Health departments say that the spread of influenza among children has increased.
As a result, dengue disease as well as influenza A and B viruses are spreading among children, said Dr. Deepal Perera, Deputy Director of Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital.
He also said that parents should pay special attention to the health of their children.
He also advises not to send children to schools or day care centers if they have fever.
