President Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that he invites the entire Sri Lankan people to join the collective beginning of the Renaissance Era.

The president points out that the people's gove ment, which was built together by the general public of the country, is gradually moving forward amidst a thousand slanders and obstructions from the corrupt political regime.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake made this statement while issuing a message on the occasion of the 77th National Independence Day.

The message also states that everyone in the country is collectively struggling with the challenge of rebuilding a rich country—a beautiful life that has been lost.
