At the request of the opposition, the IGP has arrived in Parliament today (31) to discuss the security issues that have arisen in the country.

The Speaker is currently chairing this special discussion in Parliament.

The opposition had recently requested Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne to summon IGP Priyantha Weerasuriya to Parliament to discuss the security of members of Parliament.
