The International Monetary Fund says that Sri Lanka's economy is likely to grow by 3.1% next year.
They noted that there has been a strong recovery in economic growth in the context of the Sri Lankan government initiating a reform program through the International Monetary Fund.
Also, economic growth last year was 5%, and in the first half of this year, growth has been shown to be 4.8%.
They noted that so far, some of that strong recovery has only been normalized, and the impact of some developments is temporary depending on the level of economic activity.
Sri Lanka's economic growth is 3.1%, and a stronger recovery than originally expected can be seen in 2024 and 2025, the IMF says.
