Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has participated in a conference of the India-Pacific Islands Cooperation Forum in Papua New Guinea.

It is reported that the leaders of 14 island states including Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue and Solomon have joined.
 
It is said that the Indian Prime Minister had a discussion with the President of Papua New Guinea, James Marap.
