The Asian Development Bank has taken steps to approve a loan amount of 350 million dollars to stabilize the economy of Sri Lanka.

The bank said in a statement that the loan amount was given to strengthen the budget on policy matters.
 
It is also stated that this is related to the comprehensive credit facility provided to Sri Lanka by the Inte ational Monetary Fund.
