The Colombo Permanent High Court yesterday (07) rejected the bail applications filed by former ministers Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Nalin Fe ando, who are serving 25-year prison sentences, seeking their release on bail subject to the appeal filed against the sentence.

This order was reportedly issued by a three-judge bench of the High Court comprising Priyanath Liyanage, Viraj Weerasuriya, and P.M.T. Bandara.
