The White House says Russia and Ukraine have agreed to ensure the safety of commercial ships passing through the Black Sea and to stop military attacks in the Black Sea.

The United States also said that agreements have been reached with Ukraine and Russia.

The two sides have also agreed to stop attacks on energy and infrastructure facilities.
