The National War Heroes Commemoration ceremony of the nation's gratitude to the war heroes who died during the thirty years war in Sri Lanka, under the leadership of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Ranil Wickramasinghe, has been proudly organized today (19) at 4:00 pm at the Battaramulla War Heroes Memorial.

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the victory of the LTTE.

A large number of invited guests and former army commanders are expected to participate in this war hero celebration event, which will be attended by war heroes, relatives of the families of martyred war heroes and school cadet groups.

A celebration of proud war heroes has been organized this year, and special war drums and floral tributes will be performed to appreciate the ete al memories and heroism of the war heroes of the army, air and navy forces, police and civil defense forces who sacrificed their lives to secure the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

This celebration has been organized by Ranaviru Seva Authority in coordination with the Ministry of Defense and the Army Headquarters.
