A discussion to review the progress of the process to establish a new authority to protect and nurture the Central Highlands was held yesterday (29) under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

It was held at the Presidential Secretariat.

Accordingly, the Presidential Media Division stated that the progress and legal provisions related to the process were extensively discussed, and relevant proposals and ideas were also presented.

The president also strongly emphasized the need to protect and nurture the Central Highlands.
