The Department of Immigration issued a statement stating that the fee for issuing foreign passports has been doubled.

Accordingly, with effect from today (01), the general service foreign passport fee, which was Rs.5,000, has been increased to Rs.10,000.

The announcement added that this price increase is valid for both online and offline segments.
