Police Media Spokesman DIG Advocate Nihal Thalduwa announced that all post-election gatherings will be prohibited for a week after the announcement of the parliamentary election results.

Voting for the parliamentary elections began at 7:00 am today and concluded at 4:00 pm.

Authorities are preparing for the announcement of results.
