The scholarship stipend offered by the President's Fund to students in financial difficulty has been increased by 1,000 rupees since February.

The President has given approval to increase the amount of the allowance from February 2024 on the special requests of the children.

The President's Fund is currently paying a monthly stipend of 5,000 rupees to the scholarship recipients of the 2021/2022 scholarship awarding program, and 10 monthly installments have been paid so far.

Accordingly, a monthly allowance of 6,000 rupees will be given from the President's Fund in the first week of every month to the respective scholarship winners from February 2024 until A/L examination.
